Installation Notes

  • Mount the reader head on the stationary part of the machine and the scale on the moving part.
  • Ensure parallel alignment:
    • Scale: ≤ 0.1 mm per 100 mm
    • Reader Head: ≤ 0.04 mm per 50 mm
  • Avoid magnetic tools near the scale rod to prevent interference.
  • Use protective housing in environments with metal chips or strong magnetic fields.
  • Annual ripple adjustment is recommended for optimal performance.
