Built for seamless integration with HA-705LK reader heads and MSS-976R scale rods, the MD50 Series delivers exceptional accuracy and speed. It supports scale response speeds of up to 100 m/min, making it suitable for high-speed operations where precision cannot be compromised.

The MD50 Series offers selectable resolutions ranging from 0.5µm to 10µm, with output pulse widths between 0.1 and 4.0µs. This flexibility allows users to tailor the system to their specific application requirements, whether for fine positioning or broader industrial feedback control.

Each interpolator supports 2 or 4 independent axes, depending on the model, and features a modular card-based architecture. This design not only simplifies installation but also makes maintenance more efficient — if one axis fails, only the corresponding card needs to be replaced, minimizing downtime and cost.

The MD50 is equipped with dual alarm outputs (digital and analog), providing real-time system monitoring and early fault detection. This enhances operational safety and supports predictive maintenance strategies, especially in mission-critical environments.

Maintenance-Friendly Design:

Each axis is independently controlled via a card-type detector board (A-1A06-661-1, MSD-MS82) (A-1A13-495-1, MSD-MS158). If one axis fails, only the affected board needs replacement — reducing downtime and service costs.
