Snap gauge with a Metro display

The Metro M3 display unit is particularly adapted to be used with snap gauges. The picture below shows an example of application with 2 Heidenhain probes mounted on snap gages. The measurement is clearly shown on the M3 screen and the result also with useful green/red indicator.
The M3 facilitates the operator’s job by switching automatically the part reference on the screen by moving the probe tip. When the M3 is configured, the operator has just to place the parts on the snap gauge and that’s all.
This feature increases consequently efficiency on workshops and reduces costs as well as error risks.

2 ranges of snap gauges are available. The first is fitted with fixed anvils. The second can be mounted with interchangeable M2.5 standard tip. This is recommend to use only ball tip with this range.
