When used with scale rod MSS-976R, the system can yield an accuracy of ±3µm and a measuring length of 100 – 700mm (overall length 30+ML+30mm)

The structure of the HA-705LK has been rigorously tested to give excellent vibration and shock resistance. Under test conditions, studies conducted by Magnescale have shown that the reader head can withstand shock at 30 to 50G during acceleration and 110G or more when undergoing drop tests.
These criteria enable the HA-705 reader head to be used in harsh environments found in rolling mills.
